I believe there’s a better way to build a great business.

I’ve spent nearly 15 years building businesses, developing leaders and helping people grow profitable companies. And I’ve learned a lot along the way, some of it the hard way.

Early in my career, I built through hustle. I worked harder, took on more and became incredibly successful. I also burned myself out. Eventually, I realized something that completely changed the way I lead: working more isn’t always the answer. Sometimes we need to work differently.

At one point, I realized I was spending nearly 25 hours every week in individual meetings with my team. So I stepped back and asked a simple question: Is there a better way to do this? We completely changed the strategy and created a system that increased accountability and connection while taking those 25 hours down to about 3.

We got our time back, we did better work, and our sales grew 30% that year.

That experience shaped so much of what I believe about business today. Putting people first and creating massive ROI are not competing ideas. When we get clear on what actually matters, develop great leaders, put people in work they’re great at, and build a team that knows where it’s going, really good things happen.

Healthy leadership creates healthy teams. Healthy teams build healthy businesses. Healthy businesses grow.

Today, that’s the work I get to do with CEOs and leadership teams. I come into a business as an experienced outside partner and help identify what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and what needs to happen next.

Most successful business owners don’t need one more thing to do. They need the right things to become clear, and they need great people around them who are equipped to help carry the business forward.
